ULTRAFILTRATION
By using Ultra Filtration (UF) membranes, small particles and large macro molecules can be removed from the water flow. This makes it an ideal technology for use on polluted rainwater, or any other source containing these pollutants.
The ultrafiltration technique is also used for the purification of wastewater in combination with biological purification (MBR technology).
REVERSE OSMOSIS
If the required water quality is comparable to that of drinkable water, or even demineralized water, an installation with Reverse Osmosis (RO) membranes is the solution. The big advantage of this technology is that it is a continuous process, without the need for large quantities of chemicals. However, when designing an RO, it is very important to make a good projection of the chemical deposits, so that it will be possible to enable problem-free exploitation.
