EKK Eagle Simrax was looking for a sustainable long-term solution for its wastewater problem. Every day, 500 litres of heavily polluted wastewater was produced through the use of pigmented lacquer.

Result
By deploying a vacuum evaporator with a scraper mechanism (for maximum water recovery) and a polishing step with an activated carbon filter (for purification of the distillate), we achieved:
Almost complete recovery of the wastewater
Only 5% residue of the original volume
A spectacular 95% reduction in the annual disposal cost
The treated water is reused as demineralised water
Thanks to Eco-Vision, EKK Eagle Simrax no longer has to have its wastewater disposed of externally and they actively contribute to a circular water strategy. Change starts with a vision!

Zero Liquid Discharge in aluminium treatment
For Bendec, Eco-Vision realised a mobile closed water circuit, reusing rinse water via ion exchangers and evaporating residual water with a vacuum evaporator on heat pump. Smart wastewater management in the PCB sector
Thanks to a combination of physico-chemical treatment and advanced ion exchangers, Eurocircuits reuses 60,000 m³ of water each year and reduces the copper content to below 0.05 ppm. Result: official authorisation to discharge to surface water and an annual saving of €110,000.

Datwyler
Closed water loop in the medical industry
At Datwyler, the rinse water from rubber components has been fully reused since 2018 via a reverse osmosis installation in closed loop. The result: 33,600 m³ less water consumption and €85,000 saving per year. Circular, pure and efficient.
