DEMIN INSTALLATIONS

Demin installations are available in fixed and mobile configurations. Both have their specific advantages. For example, mobile systems excel in terms of flexibility and modular deployability. Moreover, they require little maintenance and the customer does not have to worry about the regeneration. Fixed systems are particularly suitable for large flows. The customer is responsible for the management of his own regeneration systems. Such ion exchangers work very well, are extremely robust and can easily handle large capacities. We design both types fully tailored to the customer. In doing so, we fully map out crucial factors such as the process conditions, the entrainment losses and the salt balances. So that you are chiseled for years.

SELECTIVE ION EXCHANGERS

After physico-chemical purification, it is possible that the treated water still contains excessive concentrations of certain metals (copper, zinc, nickel, germanium, manganese, tin, lead and or chromium). In case of low salt concentrations and the absence of complexing agents (such as EDTA and NTA), selective ion exchangers know how to handle this. They ensure a further reduction in the concentration of heavy metals to ppb values. Eco-Vision is happy to apply this technique if circumstances permit.

SPECIAL ION EXCHANGERS

Eco-Vision also uses specific ion exchangers in other circumstances. We do this, for example, to recover acids from process baths such as sulfuric acid ((H2SO4), phosphoric acid (H3PO4) and hydrogen chloride (HCl). A special ion exchanger is also a suitable solution to extend the service life of certain process baths. This can be achieved by removing elements such as iron (Fe), zinc (Zn) and chromium (Cr). We opt for these solutions if the analysis shows that such ion exchangers are the ideal remedy.

MIXED BED

If the conductivity of the demineralized water has to be very low, we at Eco-Vision often opt to carry out a polishing after the RO installation. For low consumption companies with low consumption, we regularly use small ‘mixed bed’ patterns. Once these are saturated, they can be exchanged easily and quickly.
